NEED HELP with my chickens foot!!!

My year old rooster got what I am pretty sure was bumble foot about a month ago. I did surgery and removed the kernel. But there must have been more kernals deeper in his foot! It healed up. There is no scab anymore and now his whole foot is swelling day by day and getting bigger! I don't know what to do or if I should perform surgery.

Yes I have. It doesn't seem to reduce the firm swelling at all. His foot is also pretty warm so I think it must be some kind of infection?
