my male duck and me got along so well but latly he wants to bit me he dont do that to anyone else in the family his mate past away so he is the only duck i have what should i do

Don't let him get away with it. Each time he bites, hold him gently but firmly AND hold his bill gently but firmly closed. Hold his head down or flat (that is, his head at the level of his feet). This is what a dominant duck would do to him, except that a dominant duck would pinch (and you will be gentle). You can hold his head for a good minute or two. making sure his nostrils are not covered. Repeat. And repeat. And repeat. After a long time (mine took more than a week), your duck will understand you are top duck. They will no longer bite you.

Here is a guy doing stuff for his ducks, actually has a part where his male is getting a lesson on manners and who's the boss.

I do the same thing with Dandy when she's doing undesirable things. I just tap the top of her bill and tell her "Stop it" She picked up on it pretty quick. When she stops, I tell her "thank you" in a sweet voice. I'd give her a treat, but she doesn't like anything but her crumb food LOL
