NEED HELP WITH SHIPPED FBCM EGGS! UPDATE~!!!!!

I just went through a similar story. I bought two batches of eggs off of ebay, 16 total silkies and Amaraucanas. My two year old help see to it that there were only 15 in the incubator. A third were clear, a third turned into "blood rings" I think, and a third were locked down with three of them having moving chicks inside. Two peeped early and died and one made it out. This was my first incubation so I don't know how much of it is my fault but we are searching for local eggs now to remove the USPS variable. The good news is that "Penny" the Amaraucana is doing great.

Yeah I was really worried with this last hatch. It did turn out a lot better this time though. I guess well all take that risk with shipped eggs. Sometimes you have a good hatch other times not so much. I would purchase from the breeder I bought these last eggs from again. She wrapped them well in bubble wrap and shredded newspaper. Must have been ok they came over 1000 miles total.

Update! My eggs have hatched and I ended up with 10. I was so nervous this attempt would turn out like my last one. I got 0 out of 12. Shipped eggs make me nervous!! Lol!
Congrats !!!

I have 11 out of 14 eggs in lock-down since yesterday morning (I drove 1 1/2 hours to pick-up them up instead of shipping) My 3 yr old grand daughter played with the thermostat knob on my hatcher yesterday

and I have been a nervous wreck getting temp stable again for the last 24 hours. Now I Hope some of them will hatch
