Not to derail the thread, but briefly, what is the purpose of all these air sacs? In a fish they would provide bouyancy in water, but in a bird...? And do all birds have these?

Stop ACV, just makes the water taste bad & it's more to prevent fungus growing in it... so that folks can wait longer before washing waterers... ingestion of vinegar isn't much benefit to HER. Start her antibiotics as soon as possible, time is of the essence.
@BigBlueHen53 I wasn't involved in the design process, but I'm gonna guess that its purpose was much like that of fish; to distribute the air for bouyance... in the case of birds... flight... either current or long past in the ages.
Thanks, Ebony. Maybe just as "filler" to give their body the right dimensions/ proportions without adding weight/ bulk. Nature (God) is amazing!
