Need help with Sid (BJG cockerel)

You can try with Sid a bit longer, but he's not sounding like a winner to me. He only attacks you sometimes??? That's not a recommendation!

He's attacked my husbands boot once. He attacked me one time and I grabbed him, since then he hasn't done it again.

We've had him for 7 months and he's only attacked twice.

star is doing ok i let him out with the flock for a bit and he was fighting with my lead rooster they were working out the pecking order it lasted about 5 minutes

Considering he has only attacked twice in 7 months it could just be him being hormonal. I also think giving him his own flock would be a worthwhile effort. There are a few steps you could try to alter his behavior should he attack again. As I mentioned in previous posts, it helped mellow my BJG cockerel out quite well who is also about 7 months old.
