Need help with silkie babies(moms raising them)

My 9 month old silkie hatched eggs out today they are silkie sizzle mix. The problem I am having is I have never raised chicks this way before and need help.

1.i Cant get chick starter what should I use instead.

2. One egg hasn't hatched yet, when should I start considering it a dead egg

3. What's different raising them with the hen and raising them with a heat lamp
