You can not make partridge with the birds you have. The only variety you can make is a blue buff columbian.

buff columbian roo X blue female = black and blue offspring

Buff columbian male X blue offspring = some blue buff columbian and a bunch of other colors. You can not just hatch a few chicks- hatch chicks until you get a few female blue buff columbian.

Buff columbian male x female blue buff columbian= buff columbian and blue buff columbian

well the silkie breeder i know and my friend knows said with what the roo is he can produce partridge coloring .. this guy has been breeding silkies for a long time and he has like the best quality and he wins every time at the show first place with his silkies so i was going with what he was saying because buffs are all the buff color right ? so he said this rooster can produce partridge off spring so i don't know ..... so with the colors i have i can't make much colors well i know i can get blue buff black white and if the guy said partridge then maybe partridge

It is impossible to produce partridge with the birds you have. It requires certain genes to be produced and none of the birds carry the genes. A buff columbian bird can not produce a partridge bird. Partridge birds carry the pattern gene and usually carry the brown allele at the E locus. Your black birds could carry the pattern gene and if you crossed them with the gray bird ( I am assuming it is birchen at the E locus) you could get silver penciled birds to segregate. If the blacks carry the pattern gene then if you crossed the blacks with the buff columbian; you could get the partridge to segregate after a few crosses- you would also get gold laced birds to segregate.

Tadkerson,

It is definitely NOT impossible...

Their parents were all kinds of sketchy backgrounds.

In appearences I had two blue hens (no gold leakage) and one buff with smutty tail. I got some really nice partridge out of them.

Here are some examples.. Parents the first three pictures.

and the following are their partridge offspring:

Sadly I lost all of my silkies in the fire. I was so excited to start breeding my partridge birds. I thought they were great.. considering what birds they came from.
So there you are. I had a lot of partridge offspring. Here are my three best out of them.
