Try tipping the egg upside down see is any water comes out, or candle it and tip it upside down see if you can see a blob of water I'm thinking he's sticky and that is thick water, lower your humidity..

The bump is him.., he's struggling, my guess he's sticky..

Take a warm wet qtip and touch that membrane get it to be see threw then send me another pic, we may have to act fast for this one..

That bump is him trying to push on the membrane to internally pipped. But for some reason his is unable to do soo. With the discoloration I would guess and say his sooo sticky inside that he can't break that membrane it's kind of like a rubber band, if you candle him and watch that bump for like 30 seconds or so, you'll see that bump move to the air cell then back.. It's him trying really hard, I'm afraid he'll give up before anything..

Right here you see that space, that to me looks likes thick gooy stuff, caused by being sticky.. The problem is he's not fully absorbed and probably can't because there's to much fluids inside. Best thing to do is lower that humidity.
