Here's my advice. You've been given a lot of conflicting information from a lot of people. However, here on BYC, people who have been proven to have given great advice and information, and have proven that they know what they are talking about, are awarded a special badge. It's under their username and it says "BYC Educator".

Two such people have posted in here. I would take their advice.

Get this:

I've never been to a Tractor Supply they don't sell it at and I would be very surprised if yours doesn't have it. It's formulated with ducklings in mind, as you can see from the picture of the duckling on the bag.

Make sure it has a picture of a duck on it and that it is NOT medicated, and that it is high in protein. and Make sure it's for babies,

Yes, I would still get the Vitamin B Complex. It too is at Tractor Supply. Don't forget to also get a syringe and a needle to be able to draw it out of the bottle.

Yes, get the B Vitamin. please understand that you don't put the needle in the ducks mouth.
