Hi to all....We have chickens and decided to get a few ducks wil some more young chickens...So we built a smaller coop that isn't as high off the ground..we have a six foot fence around it except for one end it is four foot because of a treed...Tonight we went out to secure the coops , the big girls were up so i closed the coop door but in the other pin the ducks and the young chickens weren't up yet, a bad storm rolled in so i went out later on to close the door and one of our ducks was just gone..no signs of struggle. We have a pine tree right beside the low fense and i notice feather between the fence and the pine tree and blook on the top part of the 4 foot fence but not paw prints in the mud . What could have taken it?
