So I've looked and looked for information and I cant seem to find some answers so hopefully someone can give me some advise!!
I have 5 geese one male and one female that are older and 3 that are born this year and my older female has recently stared nesting she has a few eggs she's laying on and I understand not to move her or anything she seems to be comfortable where she is. Now idk if the eggs are fertile im sure they are cause I've seen her and her Mr. get down
lol and she has a major change of attitude. but she did almost die the other day she was very dehydrated so I had to move her and put her in water. she's completely fine now I just worry about her.....I love my geese!!! and want to start raising them
now my major question is how can I help her and what kind of help can I give her?
my next question is how long can the eggs go without being sat on? she's constantly on them unless im up there feeding and watering and forcing her to move so she can get a drink and stretch.....
ANY IDEAS?????
thanks!
