Kelly, Lexie has had a rough time with her molt, too. In fact, she just kept losing feathers will she was almost completely bare because she was still laying just about every day! This went on for months, literally. Finally, about three weeks ago, she quit laying, but still her feathers weren't really coming in. I began taking her aside to feed her separately from the others, pumping her full of chopped boiled eggs with yogurt and extra good stuff for her immune system. Also, I had to bring her inside at night when the temps went to single digits since she would have frozen to death. A wonderful guardian angel slipped me some AviaCharge for her as well a couple of days ago and now, her neck, head, and wing tops are almost covered with short new feathers. Her bottom is still pretty bare as are the tops of her legs, but even her bald head isn't as bald anymore. You know how much my Lexie means to me and I was getting extremely concerned for her lately. Glad your girl is on the upswing!
