Need men's opinions on haircut...

I'm 48 with a full head of hair, (I really don't know how as I have three boys ranging from 3 to 22, lucky me I guess), but my oldest son is 22 and has been bald since he was 16. He felt the same way so he gave up on barbers a few years ago and bought a pair of clippers and does it himself.

Yes so easy to clip men's hair. If your wives are willing and able, you can not go wrong with a clipper with the length attachment and do a spin!

My Dad, used to have that wavy black hair but not anymore. He used to sport that god awful "hair flap" and we as his daughters think he got too much of a bald spot, cut the darn flap off! Now he liked it and there is no such thing as "half a wash and half a cut" for men LOL.

My hubby goes to my beauty parlor because my hairdresser does BOTH men and women, girls and boys and dogs if you are game. Cost $10 for his haircut and he sports a thick wavy black hair too. For the women, a trim cost $15 and if you want anything else, it would cost more.

I used to remember going with Dad to the older barbers and their HUGE chairs that would go up and down for fun. And the pin striped smocks!

Long gone are the hand clippers, only can be found in certain agriculture or stock stores.

So invest in clippers and save money. Don't go for the fancy cuts until your wife is in a good mood and wants to primp and prime you ready for her attraction. Trim those nose and ear hairs too while you are at it! Nothing drives me nuts seeing men with bushy eyebrows and ear hairs...ack!

I'm mostly bald and my wife cuts my hair. I didn't begrudge paying the barber but just got sick of having to wait an hour to get it done.

She cuts as close as the clippers will cut every 2-3 weeks. The hair on the floor after she gets done looks about like what you would expect if you shaved a mouse. : )
