Need moral support! KiKi is on a diet!

So, I'm reading the bag of cat food, since it's obvious I can't let KiKi free feed like my other cat. The bag says for an 8 lb. cat, 1/2 - 3/4 of a cup of food per day.
I'm dividing the 1/2 cup into two feedings a day.
KiKi gobbles it up and then spends the rest of the day making me feel guilty!
She's conned another 1/4 cup of food out of me already today and two pounce treats.
Help me be strong!

What do cat food companies sell? Cat food. So they really have an interest in getting you to feed as much cat food as possible. Can you bulk out her food with pumpkin or something? Give her green beans like you can dogs?

Mine get the same...1/4 cup am and pm.
Avoid eye contact and she won't put the "feed me" spell on you.

I don't know. Kiki sounds like she'll take her bowl and bang it on the jail bars or have the SPCA on speed dial. Bet she'll turn you in for kitty abuse, gritsar!

I tell you what, I've had siamese before but KiKi takes the cake. We've taken to calling her Her Highness.
The force with which she demands hugs is crazy. My DH told me that this morning he refused one of her hugs. She basically leaps at you and throws her front legs around your neck & starts head butting you at the same time. DH wasn't ready to be hugged before his morning coffee, so he put her down. Not to be deterred, KiKi ran behind his chair, leaped at him by launching off the back of the chair and hugged the back of his neck.

I'm about to make some popcorn for my evening snack. Guess who sits right in front of the microwave waiting for it to finish popping?
