iam going to be getting more girls soon and need to add to my coop. my girls started laying about 2months ago and doing well.my question is if i start remodeling my coop what will this do with them laying?i can come and go during the day and they seem not to be bothered.

I think it depends on the birds, some freak out over tiny changes and others just go with the flow. Mine haven't seemed bothered by anything new I've done (egg-laying wise, that is. They're plenty nervous about new situations). You'll have to see how your girls do through experience.

Depends on the bird. My BO when I picked her up actually gave me an egg in the car. I did a whole lot of building/landscaping around her. In almost 4 months she has only not given me an egg 3 times.....one of these times I was using a chainsaw/regular saw from 7AM to about 9PM....nobody gave me an egg that day! My EE won't lay with any disturbance at all...both in same pen.
