Need quiet chicken breeds

My one EE flies linearly across the yard at about 4 feet, but she's pretty terrible at going straight up. She occasionally hangs out on the branch they have in the coop that's about 4 feet high but she has to really work up some jumping to get up there.

Mine have flown ten feet linearly, and onto the roof of my house. She only flew up there because we had friends over, and one of the little kids chased her around and scared her up there. We were afraid she wouldn't come down, but she jumped off by herself eventually.

I'm new at this but I have 3 Americana's and 1 RIR. The RIR is a little chatter box but the Americana's seem pretty quiet. I have only had mine for about 3 months and they were about 4 months old but they are laying eggs.

My Easter Egger is a pretty good flier. She scaled my neighbors 6 foot privacy fence a few months ago. My neighbor has a large bull dog mix but luckily it was not out at the time. She has not flown over there since but does still go over my small 3 foot chain link fence into the side yard. I have considered clipping her wings but she is flying less and less as she gets older. Perhaps because she is getting heavier, I am not sure.
I just got a baby barred rock myself. She is only 7 weeks at the moment so it is too soon to have any useful feedback on the breed. She was the first of the new chick group to use the roost. She also seems very energetic.

Don't get blacks stars they are obnoxiousally loud and crow like roosters.

My red star is quiet, as is my white leghorn, wyandotte, and easter egger.

I also have an urban flock, well not too urban, but still we have neighbors. I saw someone mention American Dominique, and I have to say if they are a quiet breed I don't want to know what loud is! We had a scorpion problem and spent a good long while looking for a breed of chicken that was not only good for foraging( eating the scorpions and their food supply), but quiet! We read tons of information and finally decided the Dominique breed....we ordered three and two of them have finally started laying eggs.On the plus side I haven't heard either of the two sing an egg song. It is the third that hasn't started laying yet that is HUGE, LOUD PROBLEM. While the other two are laying she will SCREAM. Not even something that could be considered a noise a bird would make, it sounds like someone is killing a baby goat in my backyard....I don't think my neighbors mind too much, but I certainly do. She seems like a hysterical woman that needs to be slapped to shut up. She is fraying my nerves. The other two, about once a day will make themselves known, but at least they sound like a chicken and not something dying. I am at my wits end with her and am 95% sure she is going to be finding a new home. I wouldn't call any of the three quiet really. Recently all three have been loud until I let them out of their covered run, which I cannot until the afternoon because of hawks. Today actually the problem child was so loud I just gave up, let them out this morning, and told them if a hawk got them it was their own dang fault. Dominique breed is also a VERY talkative breed, which I don't mind. They love to sit on our laps and just ERRRRR away for as long as we please. They can be very sassy too. They aren't afraid to jump on a shoulder and get in your business. I like the personality. Plus, they have taken care of the scorpion problem. I was just expecting a chicken that was far more demure with the vocals from all the information I had read. Are EE's any good at foraging? Will they go out and take care of critters if given a chance?
As a side note we have a little non bearded silkie hen we bought and she is super quiet, unless scared. But she hasn't started to lay eggs yet.

The troublemakers. Cause everyone needs some chicken pics ^^ even when they are being stinkers
The loudest one is on the right.

My Australorps can be pretty noisy. They tend to just quietly chatter most of the day but there are several rimes during the day when something riles them up (laying an egg, a squirrel, a cat cutting through the yard, a pinecone falling on someones back) and they make the most obnoxious ruckus until I go out and shush them.

I think with the EE's it can greatly depend on who the other half is and EE is an americauna x other. I have some EE's who are down right noisy and my americaunas are noisy. My red broilers are the quietest and actually lay fairly well too. It is funny cause they are supposed to be meat birds.
