It's too early to really see veining. If you had a white egg you might be able to see a hint of it, but not in a brown one. Wait until day 5 or 6 and try again.
Oh yeah I just put them in last night and I want to check already too! But I don't want to open the bator! yes I do, no I don't, yes I do......Yes this is what is going through my head!
I know I know but I just can't help myself. LOL I keep telling myself as soon as I see veins I'll quit but I think we all know how that goes. I was joking with my hubs last night about putting hot wire around the bator.

Ten and 14 days give you the most information about what's working and what isn't, especially if you have dark eggs. My eggs are REALLY brown and I was REALLY frustrated until day 16 when I could be absolutely positive the big dark blobs had indeed grown to fill most of the available space.
They're hatching today, so I guess it didn't do them any real harm...
