Need roosting bar ideas

2x2's for the banties and young birds, 2x4's for the big birds

I have used 2x2s and 2x3s with good success. Unlike others, I use the 2 side. Winter here seldom gets below 10F.
right now I have 6 Royal Palms roosting on a 2X2 at night. Haven't had any problems with that.

Winter down here isnt normally bad either, with the exception of the rare foot of snow that shuts the state down. lol. I have a real young royal palm, a young bourbon red, a bronze tom just reaching maturatity, and a pair of broad breasted. The broads act like they are too fat to get up on the roosts when you watch them, but by morning they are all up there in a row. The chickens just roost where ever they want.
