Need Shade Ideas for Coop

We added a mesh tarp to part of our run.they also have access to under the coop which provides some nice shade. When we are super hot I put out a bucket of frozen water. Theyll stand in it to cool down or will sip from it as it melts.

I am building a new hoop coop and am going to be covering with clear poly tarp but need shade too. Has anyone used the shade tarps and if so what % shade are you using. I thought they would work great but they are very expensive so just want to get some ideas from others.

I wouldnt cover the whole run with the tarp. Maybe just a section. It will be nice when it's raining but in the heat it's going to feel like an oven. I use a mesh tarp, provides shade but also allows the breeze to flow through.
