My parents help me get my first APT about 2 weeks ago!
woot.gif

But i've been back and forth since then, buying everything for the APT
all i have left to get is the living room and dinning room set witch
i wont be buying cuz my grandma will be buying it for me as a home gift
so i will be fully moved in by next week.

but some of my friends have been saying things about my new APT and it's been
annoying me lately..lol so i wanted to ask you all is this a good deal for a APT?

It's a :
$800 month
1 BR & Den < the den will be my Pet Room
2 1/2 Bath
Larg Balcony
Larg Dinning Area
Larg Living Room
Open Kitchen
*Pets Allowed*
Free A/C & Heat & Water
All Newly Renovated Appliances
15mins away from my parents house & 10mins away from work.

I will be incubating my eggs there and after 3 days taking the babies to my parents where i will
continue to take care of them like i always do till there 8 weeks old then they go to the farm house
some of my pets will be staying at my parents i'm only taking a few with me. i will be at my parents everyday so it wouldn't make a difference..lol

So is that a good deal with the APT? and with the incubating?

I think it's a good deal. You are close enough but far enough too.

Why are your friends giving you a hard time? Are they jealous?

Which pets are you going to keep at your apt?

As long as you can afford it, I think it's good. You gotta leave Mom and Dad's sometime!

why so many bathrooms?
well out here where i live $800 is alot even for house rent.
so i cant help you much there, but still seams like alot of bathrooms.

It's hard to say being as that I don't live in your twon... every town is priced a little diferently......

But, an example... we rented an apartment (no yard) 3 bedrooms, SMALL kitchen, 1 1/2 baths, living/dining room combo and a sun room (which we used as a bedroom) Had to pay ALL of our utilities. They did allow us to bring our dog. We paid $650 a month. So, I think you got a pretty nice deal, especially if they are ok with pets. That is hard to find and many people end up paying MORE just to have that.

If you can afford it, and YOU like it... don't worry about what everyone else says. Sure, there's always a better deal out there $$$ wise... but sounds like this is a good local for you, close to work and your parents. It's about what is best and most comfortable for YOU... not what someone else wants.

Enjoy the new place!!!!

I say with Free Heat, hot water, Ac, that it is a good deal. Would be here in CT. Heat, AC and whatnot can cost you $100 to $200 a month easily.

i haven't rented in 15 years, but even 15 years ago, that would have seemed reasonable. Did you shop around? What is the goin rent in the area where you live.--

Maybe there concerns were about it being too much of an apt for you, with the 2 1/2 baths and all.

and yea $800 is really cheap here to rent anything..lol

and all my brothers and my sister have there own place.. ( i'm the youngest ) then about a month ago my mom woke me up on a saturday morning an said " guess what " and i was like huh? what?

and now since i have my own place my mom is talking about having another baby????????????????????????????????????

I know nothing about the prices where you are, but here I could get that for about $500 a month. When I lived in Anchorage, Alaska, I could have got that (but with NO utilities paid) for about $1500. So, it depends on where you are. As far as most places go, I would say it is reasonable. Oh, and I was wondering about the bathrooms, too, with a 1 bedroom apt.
