Need some advice on building a run on rocky unlevel ground.

I live in an area that is full of rocks! We have huge slates of rock running throughout our yard. To top it off, it's not very level at all. We already have our coop, but need to build a run.

Does anyone have any advice for a type of run that would work for us?

Hi FarmerVal,

Your chickens wont care if the ground is level or not. Predators, however, will! You may want to consider topping the unlevel ground with some type of filler (I'd consider small rock). Under the rock, you can lay down wire mesh to keep those predators out. Once level with rock, build up from there.
