Need some advice on goose breeding

How much do you usually make selling goslings?
It's only going to be our second year of hatching. Gizzy laid 25 eggs last year but only 6 hatched and 1 passed after hatch (I think fertility was low because it was their first breeding season). Unfortunately my mother gave someone 2 for free but we were selling them $15 for one or $25 for two. It worked out fairly well last year for the 3 others that were actually sold quickly. So I'm upping the price a tad this year to see how that does. It's hard to say in my area lol.

My mother said one of her friends wants to try eating goose eggs so we will give 1-2 to her to try them for free. But yeah. I need to fine tune my notes for next years breeding. I want to keep track of quitters before lockdown. So gonna keep track of how many look developed at candling by adding a candling date and developement count.

I'm wondering if it's time to raise the price on local goslings. Considering inflation, and the fact there's no shipping involved.
Ours are mixed breeds so I can't price them out as a full breed. And area factors in to. We got Gus and Gizzy shipped from MetzerFarms. Almost $100 for just them two lol. And their one of the cheaper small order places. So yeah local is better but there was no one selling goslings in our area. Their all downstate 2-3 hours or out of state.

Thats why I said my area is iffy. Usually if you want a specific breed or species the liklihood of finding it within an hour drive here is pretty difficult lol. Sometimes you get lucky but sometimes it's like they don't exist lol.

Is it an even more sure sign of it being a female if the established goose keeps trying to hold down the new goose? I looked it up and it says its a display of dominance but not exactly saying if a female will do that to a male or if its just female vs female and male vs male. I've caught Gizzy doing it twice to the new goose. I feel like maybe I shouldnt interrupt it but not sure. I want them to become a trio but i know nothing about the so called pecking order of the goose kingdom.
