Need some encouragement please

Just keep on giving her lost of love and attention. Keep pushing electrolytes and water. When my turkeys sick he loves hard-boil eggs with a cricket mashed up in eggs.
I added a vitamin and mineral supplement for her today. It is a once a day thing given orally up to 3 cc. Also I went back to tractor supply and got littler needles because I don't want her to suffer anymore than she already is.
Am afraid I may cause her more stress or suffering than she is already in by all these shots in her breast and now pushing vitamin liquid into her mouth.
my wife says I need to just relax and give it time but for what ever reason this has been very stressful on me.
I want to make her better and I don't want to make her last few days ( possibly ) worse by poking and prodding her
I won't make a good vet

Vitamins are good.

It's great that you got smaller needles.
Smaller are definitely less painful.
Also don't reuse them if you don't have to. They are never as sharp after being used.

The sharp tip of the needle is actually beveled. When you poke it in, go straight and don't hesitate.
Don't just stab her Willy-nilly , but be firm and swift.

You are doing a remarkable job caring for Emily. Keep it up.

Did you call that number of the vet that would come to you? I just had to drain a huge hard abcess on my friends goats leg. Lots of nasty stuff came out. Ended up taking 30cc out of it. Still think you need to soak that scab off, see what's under there. Please keep us posted.
I will be honest, I have not yet. Finances are a little tight. I'm sure that vet will cost more than I really can afford right now. Especially after the last vet visit and antibiotics and meds
guess I was sort of hoping what we were doing would help

I certainly respect your feelings, but I'd call though.

Explain your situation. Tell him/her what you spent at the vet and what the vet told you AND WHAT HE DIDN'T DO FOR YOU OR YOUR PET, EMILY.
Veterinarians take an oath you know, just like doctors for people.
Maybe this vet will have a kinder heart than the last.

-just my own opinion. It can't hurt.

That is right -- you never know until you speak with him. Some people are just very compassionate. It won't cost anything to speak with them.:hugs

How are you and Emily doing today? Please call the vet and at least talk to them. I find many vets will work with you on payments. They are in it to help you and your animals. My thoughts and prayers are with you two.
