Wife just called and let me know that my first pip is beginning to zip...she is going to email me a picture.

LOL...is it a bad thing to have the chicken fever bad? I am way more anxious with these eggs than I was with my test eggs since I spent quite a bit of money on them!

It isn't bad. I have the chicken fever all the time. I have to make myself not get anymore eggs or chicks and it's really hard. I'm also a first timer on incubating and I'm in lockdown right now and keep hoping I'm doing everything right. Good luck on your hatch

It isn't bad. I have the chicken fever all the time. I have to make myself not get anymore eggs or chicks and it's really hard. I'm also a first timer on incubating and I'm in lockdown right now and keep hoping I'm doing everything right. Good luck on your hatch

Awww, missing it by a couple days! Mine should hatch May 2nd. I'm interested to see how the Trader Joe's work out.
We had 8 babies when we walked in then at 8:19 two popped their top at the same time so we have 10 right now and bunch of pips and couple of zips! Pics to follow.

This egg pipped around 13.5 hours ago. I keep expecting it to zip...but apparently it just keeps making the crack in the egg bigger.
