Can't wait to see pics!!

I have a question that may have been answered before....
on day 18 when you stop turning them... my incubator has an egg tray with separator bars for different sizes of eggs. I have the eggs in between them with the pointy side down. I am wondering do I take the bars out and leave them in the tray on their sides? I have read that you are not supposed to turn them because it disorients them and tires them out. Just a little confused.... I didnt know if it mattered to have the eggs on their sides for the rest of the time. But thought it would be bad on the chicks trying to hatch if those divider bars were in the way....

Remove the tray, and lay them on their side..they will get it..they turn around to the large end anyway, for the air sac.

Not sure if anyone leaves theirs in the tray? I think I've heard that they take them out..at least a lot do. I personally turn mine, but I am home to do it.

I locked down on Thursday night a night early since I was opening to turn other eggs. I was wondering how long I can go without turning week old eggs while the 9 hatch, for last night one of my eggs piped and I don't want to drop the humidity for any amount of time. My humidity is at or around 85 and my temp is between 98 to 101 after all the upgrades that I did last week.
So my question is how long can I not turn my eggs?
And how long from pip till hatch is to long to wait?

You never know how long a pip will stay the same. I just had one pipped for a full day, then another pipped and stayed the same way, almost a full day. You just never know. They will pip, but may still need to be in for a while to finish absorbing their yolk and blood.
It can be a touchy thing with just week old eggs not to turn them. No other bator to hurry and sneak them out while your humidity is up that high?

Not yet we don't have a second incubator but I do have a cooler to make a second one so that I can hatch 1 1/2 weeks apart once I have a larger brooder area for right now I am using one of my grandkids rooms in the house. I am hoping that we will get a barn on here at some point but that is not up to me it is up to the landlord.
I did find that I can turn the eggs and the humidity does not go down to much if I am quick about it but turning 24 eggs by hand is not a fast job.

If your humidity doesn't go below 60 while you're at it, and the room is warm, should be ok..but time will tell. Good luck! Did that egg pip more?

My egg that I put under my broody to keep her that way has pipped in the bator! My other 19 eggs are due next Sat and then I have 7 eggs under the broody due in 2 1/2 weeks.
