Need some help hooking up my digital humidistat

I thought I set it up just like that but I still couldn’t get it to work. This is frustrating. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m missing to

So if it’s on H and your certain that your changing the humidity setting, have you put the humidity down to like 10%?

Hang on once. Just wanted to show you this. Here’s how the directions have it wired. It’s different than on the controller

At one point when I was switching wires back and forth I had power to the switch but my checker said my hot/neutral reversed but I couldn’t get it to turn off then either way it was hooked either so something still wasn’t wired right or a setting lol
I put the humidity down to 10% and nothing happens to the outlet. It’s still dead

I'm not sure I understand what's going on here . In the diagram 1&4 are load line both hot by the same wire black wire .It looks to me like the diagram is wrong . I'll look at mine and get back to you. This shows no switched separation between controller which needs power all the time and the switch to control the humidifier.Maybe my coffee isn't working.

Ok so I’m going to redo everything and use the directions but where does the other wire for my outlet go? Here’s how I have it now. I eliminated the pid. Where would the white wire from my outlet go?

In your diagram 1and 3 are hot and should be jumped with a jumper wire fed by your power supply . 4 is neutral and should be connected to the neutral side of your power supply and jumped to the neutral side of your plug the sliver screws . 2 is hot only when the controller switch is activated by the controller. use a single black wire from 2 to the brass screws on the plug you are using . you must separate the two controllers Run each to spate plug . white wires to neutral black wires to hot .

The diagram on the controller or the paper one. I’m asuming the paper one you are talking about now?
