True, the way you described them flopping is probably due to FF being off.

Maybe suggest to her not to give them FF with the next batch of babies she gets. FF is really up in the air if it’s that beneficiary. I use it here and there but not often.

I’ve personally never used FF for my chickens because one they don’t eat it in the wild and two I would mess up and kill all my chickens

feed with water, soaked overnight ate it just fine for 3 day, made in a plastic cheese ball containter.

Probably got old. Ask her if the feed was always fully submerged. Was the container covered and with what? I wouldn’t make FF in a plastic container, but that’s probably not the culprit.

I am also suspecting the FF. Botulism maybe.
