Need some help on identifying breeds and possible gender

I would not leap to cockeral  by any means. That is still pretty small for a comb, and not a whole lot of red...although at 3 weeks it could be the early signs...it is NOT a sure thing. I've had a lot of pullets look precocious in yellow at this age but mature early into early laying hens.

Also, with the green legs and something of a muff, it looks like this chick could be from the Wheaten Ameraucana roo, then it would be an EE, and that feather color patterning is almost always female for an EE.

thanks for your comment. I really hope you are right, this is one of our favorites... who am I kidding I love them all. But we would really love another EE hen. He have an all white one that we love that was a pleasant surprise because we were told she was a Buff Orpington. Anyway, time will tell I guess.

Alright it's almost been 2 weeks since my OP and I have some updated pics. I'm not expecting much has changed in way of if you can tell what breed or gender there are but I figured what the heck.

Chick #1- 12 weeks Rhode Island Red and pullet?
Chick #2- 11 weeks Barred Rock and Cockerel?

And unfortunately chick #7 flew out of the brooder the day before I moved the chicks to the coop and was no where to be found. :(

Anyway, if anyone has ideas on breed or gender for any of these I would love to hear them! :)

#1 RIR, pullet
#2 BR, roo

#3 Silkie...not sure...comb says pullet so far, body stance says roo...wait and see

#4 EE, pullet...body color almost certain pullet

#5 probably pullet, wait to see

#6 probably pullet, really looks like a pullet form body type, wait to see

My thoughts

thanks for your thoughts. If I end up with at least 4 pullets I'd be happy. I am sad Peppermint the BR is a roo because he's the first chick I ever hatched but I've felt he was a roo for many weeks I'm just waiting for the inevitable crow.

I don't have any experience with roos so I don't know what typical roo behavior is but I haven't seen any of the chicks chest bumping or anything like I've read that they'll do. I'm assuming if their is only 1 roo out of the little 4 then I wouldn't see that behavior between them and I wouldn't see it between the BR and the white silkie (if it is a roo) until the baby chick feels more confident to do that with the BR right?

Anyway if everyone is what you think then I'd be pretty happy. Sad I'd have to give up Peppermint and the white silkie/polish(breed I really wanted) but I really wanted 4 pullets so it would be alright.

Alright it's been a few weeks. I have some updates and some new pictures for guesses.

First off my barred rock turned out to be a roo... he decided to crow at 12 weeks old so we had to sell him. :(

I still think my rir or production red is a pullet.

Now here are my 4- 8 week olds.

If you need different pics let me know. My white silkie has mulberry colored wattles.
