Need some help with an injured duck leg and no luck with searches.

I have been searching for information on slipped tendons and broken legs without much success. Yesterday my husband was clipping feathers on our birds to keep them from flying out of the run and apparently sometime when this went on my one year old call duck hurt his leg. He can move his hip, but the problem lays in the hock area. From there on it foot doesn't move. I felt both legs comparing for differences and neither my husband or myself could feel anything different. Any suggestions?

The duck may have just sprained the leg. I would see if any noticeable swelling occurs or bruising. You may have to splint the leg with popsicle sticks after setting it if it is indeed broken.
