Need some help with id please!!

Got these 2 from soneone looking to save them. We have no idea what breed they are! They are the same age. Thanks!!

I would guess hatchery quality New Hampshire cockerel and pullet.

How old are these birds? Different breeds mature at different rates, look different according to stage of development... They may be New Hampshires or some mixed breed... Have you considered asking the person you got them from what they had? If they are New Hampshires, I would guess young ones between 3 and 6 months.

I got them from a teacher. She got them from a teacher who did a group hatching project in the classroom. So no go on where they were purchased. I am guessing they are right around 4 months. I was wondering if the larger one was a roo. It is just the feet are so big compared to our hens!! Thanks so much! I will look up this breed.

Yes, you have a cockerel and a pullet, likely mostly New Hampshire or crossbred. They will develop more body weight and widen out a little on their way to maturity. They should be good dual purpose birds (meat/eggs). Enjoy them and

Yes the larger, darker one is a cockerel (young rooster) the lighter colored one is a pullet (young hen)

"Classroom" chicks are almost always crossbreds. I'd say chances are better than good that you have a pair of crossbreds.
