Need Some HELP!

This is are first time hatching. We are on day 19. When we went to bed everything was just perfect but when we woke up the light bulb had burned out and temp was 75 degress. Do you think they died???

Depends on how long it was out for. Did you fix the bulb as soon as you saw it?
It should be ok if it wasn't for too long.
Don't give up, it may have just lengthened the time for a few hours.
Remember mama has to get off the nest once in a while to poop and eat.

we fixed the bulb as soon as we saw it. we candled the egg but all we see is black now. can really see if there is movement. is there anyway to see movement this late??

Once they grow that big, it's hard to see... they are so big.
I usually put them up to my ear, it will sound "alive"
You can hear clicking or maybe even peeping. Did you try to peep to them?
How many eggs are in there?

My incubator died on a cold night really close to lockdown and the temp was down to 80* before I noticed it the next morning. They eggs still hatched and the chicks are happily growing healthily today

However I doubt they died. Hens' get off the eggs for sometimes a long time. I had a hen hatch two in the below zero weather so she must have been really good. Now don't pull the plug on day 21, and don't snatch the first chick. Give them a couple of extra days after the first one hatches. Remember they can go for three days with out eating. Take advantage of that time and wait.

thank you so much for the replys. we only have 1 egg left out of 6. i swear waiting for this one to hatch is like a child 4 days before Christmas morning.

Im in the same position as you i have only 1 egg left out of 6 to i have been so stressed out still not seen no movement in the incubator though ,i thought i was on day 21 today but apparently im only on day 19 lol i counted first couple of days im new to it all so had no idea

but im constantly thinking the worst just wish the egg would move then i can relax a wee bit
