Need some Questions Answered

i used to have a hen and she was very healthy and very Beautiful
She used to eat lettuce and all kinds of food.
One day i noticed something it was on her leg
she was getting a strange bruise on the left side of the leg
she kept getting sicker and sicker i know she was dieng
the day came and she Died
but before i disposed of her i noticed that the Bruise Turned
dark purple and spreaded around her leg
ive always wanted to know what this is
She was a beautiful Hen and laid big brown Eggs
The eggs would always contain 2 yolks
And she even gave us one big brown egg that gave us 3 yolks
when she was about to die the egg came out squishy and bluish/rubbery

im pretty sure it was flat
but was if it was raised?

I'm not an expert but if it was raised it could have been a tumor (that's just the first thing that came to mind)
