I posted about a month ago regarding my RIR hen who broke her leg.

It was splinted but the only way she could lay down was to position the leg behind her. She holds it up just under her tail feathers. She got the splint off and her leg seems to work perfectly except it is now backwards from holding it under her tail for so long. I can position it properly (with some resistance) but as soon as I let go, it turns backwards again. She does put weight on it when standing but cannot walk on it because of the position so to get around, she tucks it up under her tail and hops on one leg.

I know if I could get that leg turned around, she would be able to walk and have use of that leg. Any suggestions?
