I just purchased five 2'x8' grid wall panels similar to the image below. My plan is to make a frame of 4x4's to measure 4x8. Then I will attach the grid wall panels vertically on the frame. I plan on using the last panel as the top and will make two hinged doors for access. I will also construct a hinged door on the side for the chickens to enter and exit. I plan to cover the panels with chicken wire.
I want to install wheels on the front and back but I need the capability to raise the tractor for movement and then lowering the tractor so it can sit flush on the ground. My chickens have a regular coop and run in the back yard, but I intend to use this tractor to give them fresh grass, etc. out in the pasture but still have them protected from predators.
Any advice/drawings/literature/references would be greatly appreciated. Thx
