Are all the barred rocks the same bird? My guess at first was not because the last one looked like a black sex link roo. Just a thought. I may be completely in left field.

No, you're right. The ones I posted might be different birds. We have six of them, and three look like the pics I posted. The other three must be females because their combs are almost non existent compared to the other three, and everyone's the same age. The only other difference is the degree of grey/black coloring. Some have black bodies and grey necks, others have uniform black bodies, and one of the boys has a uniform greyness.

Illia, or anyone else,
here is the assumed chantecler a little older. Can you tell what she may be? Just curious because she's laying now, and was laying large eggs for a few days, now has switched to small ones. The large ones were double yolks, so we 're guessing the small ones are going to be normal. Just wanted to research her breed, if she is one. Thanks

Definitely not a Chantecler. Just looks like a mutt of some sort, no particular breed just a bunch all mixed together. Very pretty and I wish I had a hen that lays double yolkers.

Cheeks looks like a White EE Roo, not all Whites are pure white but being as his legs are the wrong color for an EE I would say a cross.
