Need the scoop on Marans

I purchased some Maran chicks, one hen, and one roo, they look like a barred rock. When I look at this site in the breed section it shows marans twice - one as an egg layer and one as a dual purpose, but neither of them look like what I have. Any ideas as to what I will end up with?

Dual purpose and they should get big and chunky my Cuckoo rooster is huge

cuckoo maran= white legs
barred rocks= yellow legs

i have both and that's the only way i can tell them apart
