Hello everyone, I have 5 ducklings right now and they are about 2 weeks old and growing expediential. So soon I will need to move them to the run area until they are adults at which time I am sure they will discover my 5 acre lake and pretty much stay there. What I need to do is build a floating duck coop so they will be safe at night but I never built one, I have built plenty of chicken coops (I have 32 chickens) but never a duck floating coop, anyone have a location on the internet that gives step by step instructions on how to build one and what material to use ?? any help would be great thanks [IMG]

Looks very pretty and welcoming to ducks. What is all in that lake ? , besides fish.

Snapping turtles and snakes are the two main concerns. After that Pike and musky are an issue. If gar are in your area they could be a concern. Also large mouth and catfish will eat ducklings sometimes.
