Hi,

We had a broody hen hatch 7 chicks from eggs we got at the farmers market. I was told that the possible breeds/crosses for them are: Leghorn, Easter Egger, Buff Orpington and Rhode Island Red. They’re almost 8 weeks old now and we’re running out of space. We can’t keep the roo’s and I’d like to determine which ones we’ll have to give away as soon as possible. Please help me determine which are pullets and which are cockerels and if possible what breed the might be. TIA!

(The last two are of the same chick)

1, 2, 3, 4 and possibly 5, are cockerels, imo. 6 is a pullet. 7’s image is too blurry.

2 and 4 could be pure Leghorn but the others are mixed.
