I was referring to my thinking thatNo, I would say the same thing other than I would leave it alone it might make it put it back in the incubator with the shell and leave it alone it needs to be warm it will go into shock it to shock if you dont
They don't start absorbing yolk until they internally pip and start breathing air.

It may just be that that is what triggers it to begin the hatching process. Like, more of a timing thing.
Like I know normally with my call ducks I know if they have not internally pipped they have not absorbed any yolk.
