Need to know what to do about my chicken egg I broke that has baby inside

No, I would say the same thing other than I would leave it alone it might make it put it back in the incubator with the shell and leave it alone it needs to be warm it will go into shock it to shock if you dont
I was referring to my thinking that
They don't start absorbing yolk until they internally pip and start breathing air.
But like @JacinLarkwell said,
It may just be that that is what triggers it to begin the hatching process. Like, more of a timing thing.
Like I know normally with my call ducks I know if they have not internally pipped they have not absorbed any yolk.

Ok well no matter what keep it warm nothing you can do if it is in shock

That brings me back to the peeping question though.
And what Kiki said.
if there isn't air in the chick's lungs yet, how could it peep?
Maybe there is enough air going through that membrane since all that shell is gone that it is breathing some air in there now.
I don't know. 🤷🤣

Ok,well it is moving around in the egg still and making peep noises here and there, I have it moist and in incubator..I will let it be, if it don't do anything by tomorrow should I help it out

Ya that's what is confusing me, cause it is making noises and moving around in egg so idk how long to wait tell I help it or what...cause as in the pictures I sent it still looks like there is little yolk left to be absorbed and I can see the blood veins still...

Just wait and watch for those veins to receede. It has a better chance of making it at least if you don't intervene too soon.

So, it is my understanding that chicks pip due to elevated CO2 levels inside the shell, it is a spasm rather than a conscious effort. The absorption of the yolk is triggered by a chemical reaction once the chick starts breathing. Since the shell is mostly missing and that the membrane is fairly porous, this may affect the CO2 build up. If blood vessels are not visible, I would open the membrane to see where the chick is at. You won't hurt the chick as long as it is handled gently and allowed to stay warm and absorb the yolk, with as little blood loss as possible.
I have done early assists on several malpositioned chicks and most of them make it and by the end of the day you can't tell them apart from their siblings.

The blood vessels are visible so that is what makes me nervous on messing with it, this would be my first time trying to help a chick...I feel terrible and my 2 young boys are so upset with me...I just hope the chick makes it...they name "her" faith😊
