I think many of the pigeon places buy a liter of the generic 10% and sell it on in their own little bottles. FYI, I just saw a liter bottle for $80!

Sorry, I didn't know. In the the UK I can get 5% and 10% for cattle and another one for birds but I'm not sure what % it is. The first time I got it the vet had said it was to to be mixed in the water but I just found it easier to use a syringe.

The 2.27% is used by most small animal vets here.

We have spoken with the local agro centre as well as a few other places we know raise chickens and they have suggested electrolytes with vitamins and oil of oregano... We have cleaned out our pen and are using straw instead of pine as the pine was very fine an maybe causeing some snezzing.

Time will tell.
