A Hawk killed my only silkie/sizzle rooster while he was protecting his girls two days ago. They are lost without him so I need to replace him. How much does shipping usually run, say, to Arkansas? When would be the best time of year? Its of course cold here as well, but not as cold as NY I'm sure.

Shipping depends on the weight but usually around $65. As long as the temps stay above 25, I'll ship. Stays a bit warmer in the box with their body heat and I always ship them in pairs or more.

Sounds good, so male and female white or splash silkie? Its too cold now, but when it gets a bit warmer I would like to order from you. Temps are in the teens with lows in single digits, but this year is colder than last year.
