I have a drake pekin duck a lil over a yr. Hes always had an issue with his leg from 5wks old. Every vet i have talked to doesn't deal with ducks in my area. Which is frustrating. Looking story short he seemed to get better. Until now. He has a limp one leg is turned in a little more than before. Both legs are warm to the touch. The ft look ok except one toe looks diff than the other. But his legs are swollen my husband and i took pictures I'll post.
Today we gave him a few warm baths to swim and keep pressure off the legs which he enjoyed and separated him from the ducks and chickens and brought him inside. And started him on his vitamins again. Ive never seen duck legs do this. And turned in. Any help/ suggestions etc to get this poor boy back to feeling better would be fantastic. Wish there was a vet within an hr of us that i can take him to. He's always been a sweetheart and hate that he's always had issues with his leg even more so now. Thx

It looks like the toe is necrotic, possibly from frostbite or damage, maybe pressure being put on it . The leg looks like varus deformity, a common leg bone deformity in all poultry and other animals. It happens in one or both legs. Some people call it a slipped tendon, but there is not much you can do about it, unfortunately. I am not a duck expert, but this also happens to chickens. Here is some reading with pictures:

Big thank you so much for the info. Very useful and handy to know. Thank you.
Yeah im def worried about the toe and legs. We've been doing warm water baths trying to keep some pressure off of it.
