I've gone back to college after 19 years, and am taking Spanish to help with my career choice. One of the things we have to do for a grade is give an oral presentation at the end of the semester. Apparently, I'm the only person in the class who raises chickens, and I would like to give a short presentation that I think will enlighten and amuse. What I need to know is the approximate translation (if there is one) of the following breeds:

Buff Laced Polish
Silkie
Wyandotte
Cochin

If there's not a translation for these, no big deal. I know not everything has one.

TIA,

Blisschick

You always have time for me, my friend.

Why don't you go to a translation sight and type in a sentence including the breed names? If it stays "English", then maybe there is no Spanish word for it.

I typed in the breeds on google translate and got the following results:

Buff Laced Polish- Polaco cordones Buff
Silkie- Silkie
Wyandotte-Wyandotte
Cochin-Cochin

Looks like the only one with a spanish translation is the Polish, according to google translate.

Good Luck!

I'm pretty sure most of those wouldn't translate into spanish. The only one I'm sure about is buff laced polish. There is probably a way you can translate that into spanish, but I am not sure how.
