My flock of mature birds have been trying to leave the yard when I let them out and lately havn't been wanting to return. I don't know what to do to get them back like they use to. They usually come running at feed time but they just look the other way now. Has anyone had this happen to them if so what did you do to solve this issue.

The free range area should for sure have a perimeter fence. Even if they can fly over it with ease, it will provide a boundry and also slow down a predator.

New flock members may fly over the perimeter fence to start with but they quickly learn to stay inside. Give them a great coop and run area and you will find that they mostly hang around the coop.
