Unfortunatly I don't believe God does this. I think that the devil does, but does God let things like this happen without stepping in, yes. It really really sucks. but this is not Heaven and bad things will happen. I know that that is no comfort with this.
But I can promise that God is with her, and with you. That he holds us through these terrible times, and that He works everything for good, it just may be really hard to see it through all the pain.
Your family is in my prayers. May the Great physcian who took stripes for us, step in and heal your daughter's broken body.
