U mean every chick stay in incubator for 24 hours from the hatch ? Then transfer in to the brooder ? Right ?
what I usually did was remove any dry chicks as fast as I can, but still be careful not to let the lid crush any eggs or chicks. If there is one that is still wet I leave it til it is dry, it will chirp and that will help the others hatch. But the chicks will roll the eggs around, I don't know if that hurts their chance of hatching so if you are worried you can keep them in egg cartons with the pointy side down, important because they will not be able to hatch if they are in the egg carton the wrong way.

Yes 24 hours I probably the max, you can transfer to the brooder once they are dry.

As for the name Kayla good suggestions, I voted HuffleClaw Hatchery and Southern Beauties because I like variety and know I can't stick with just one breed.

As for the Harry Potter theme becoming a fad that could be true although once your breeders decline in egg production do you plan to replace them? If not, HP will probably still be popular.

I like simplicity too but Ideal Poultry Breeding Farms comes to mind but everyone just calls them Ideal Poultry or even just Ideal. My Pet Chicken like BYC is often MPC.

Someone mentioned this being your coop name, maybe it can be Blue Egg Acres and if you sell other breeds they can have their own names.

Wow! I support this and i would love to read on how your business goes and picks up! What state are you in? In the next year or so ill definitely be looking to order some Blue Ameracauna Roos. Good luck! You have a gorgeous flock so far.

Also, i thought blue beards was pretty cute! But Blue egg acres is great as well.
Thanks! I’m in Alabama. :)

^^^^ yup! I need name suggestions for my Ameraucana breeding program. My goal is to sell chicks/eggs locally first and then get NPIP & AI clean, and eventually start shipping. Starting from the ground up. :D What should I call us? As in what should I call my small business (which technically hasn’t even started yet :lau).

Pictures of my Ameraucanas:
I love the blue eggs & beards. :love
