what I usually did was remove any dry chicks as fast as I can, but still be careful not to let the lid crush any eggs or chicks. If there is one that is still wet I leave it til it is dry, it will chirp and that will help the others hatch. But the chicks will roll the eggs around, I don't know if that hurts their chance of hatching so if you are worried you can keep them in egg cartons with the pointy side down, important because they will not be able to hatch if they are in the egg carton the wrong way.U mean every chick stay in incubator for 24 hours from the hatch ? Then transfer in to the brooder ? Right ?
Thanks! I’m in Alabama.Wow! I support this and i would love to read on how your business goes and picks up! What state are you in? In the next year or so ill definitely be looking to order some Blue Ameracauna Roos. Good luck! You have a gorgeous flock so far.
Also, i thought blue beards was pretty cute! But Blue egg acres is great as well.
Big Blue Roo!^^^^ yup! I need name suggestions for my Ameraucana breeding program. My goal is to sell chicks/eggs locally first and then get NPIP & AI clean, and eventually start shipping. Starting from the ground up.What should I call us? As in what should I call my small business (which technically hasn’t even started yet
).
Pictures of my Ameraucanas:
I love the blue eggs & beards.
