Hey folks!
I have a 6 week old chick who was hatched from my own flock (6 other chicks from same hatching, all appear unafflicted).

2-3 days ago I noticed one of the chicks resting more than the others in the grass. I noticed one eye appeared wet, and had some wet neck feather. Checked for injuries, and did not see any- the wetness on the neck appeared to be from the chick rubbing its head on it’s neck. The eye has had bubbles and the chick has had some mucus.
The chick has continued to have bubbles in the eye.

I sent a swab to local lab and results came back today negative for Coryza, MG and MS. She has some lesions around her eye that are crusty, and had some white/yellow patches on the roof of her mouth. She is eating and drinking well. I’ve had her inside in a dog crate with me the past few days. We had a hen a year or two ago that had similar symptoms and her eye infection ended up being ringworm (necropsy results) ! I’m wondering if there are any over the counter I can apply near her eye (but not in it). We have been using ophthalmic gel and Terramycin eye ointment twice daily.

Any suggestions?

Are you flushing the eye at least once a day in addition to the Terramycin? You need to try to rinse away any accumulated pus or discharge. Treating the eye itself for a fungal infection is tricky. If you are sure there's a fungus in the eye, then Terramycin isn't advisable as it can work against the fungal infection. If you aren't sure about whether it's fungal or bacterial, then treat for a bacterial infection.

You would need to see a vet to get antifungal eye drops if you feel strongly it's fungal.

I should clarify the previous hen had ringworm around the eye, with similar lesions as this chick.. but not in the eye itself... the eye itself doesn't seem bad, minus the bubbles and clear discharge.. but more so the skin surrounding, and lesions.

Thanks for your assistance as always

Can you get some testing to see if Ringworm is an issue?

To me, the lesions along with the white/yellow patched in the roof of the beak sounds like Wet form of Fowl Pox.

I'd still continue to flush the eye with saline and put terramycin in the eye to help with infection.

For Fowl Pox, some use Iodine to paint lesions to help them dry up. Since it does have antifungal properties, you could try carefully painting some of the lesions on the facial tissue to see if that helps.
Possible your vet can give you an Iodine based eye drop?

Sanitize the water with Iodine or Oxine as described in the article below. An antibiotic may be needed to help with secondary infection.

Tell us, is there a bad odor?

If possible, photos of the inside of the beak.
