Neighbor FOUND this DUCK in Cat's mouth...PICS

Make sure that is doesnt rain on those ducklins while they are out there. Yes the calls of the little ones should bring in any other sibblings and even prehaps mom if she is still alive. Good Luck with them and get them to the rehab ASAP

Thank you for helping all of these babies! The one that was in the cat's mouth may well need antibiotics for 5 days or so in order to survive. Hopefully the folks who are going to help you can tend to that lickety split.
No sign of the mom anywhere?
Hope it all works out

Well...after chasing 3 babies through the raspberry briars and unsuccessfully finding them...with hawks circling above and gunning for the ground where they were last seen...I want to give up on searching but will put the brooder outside again in hopes maybe some of them made it. There are still 3 left...all fine...drinking but not eating.

The babies are very quiet now...not peeping for their siblings or mama. Called the Wildlife Rehabilitator and she will come get them. Kind of sad...but happy not to be stressing about the ones that lived...eating and drinking. The Rehabilitator will take care of all that.

A robin laid in our outdoor chicken nest yesterday too...one small beautiful blue egg...found a snake skin underneath. Nests and eggs are illegal to move or touch too...so I just rolled it out of the nest in hopes the robin will find it later. I'll move the nest back indoors so we don't get any more wild birds in it...I've got to keep them separated from the wild birds...I know that is not good.

Thanks all for your responses...the ducklings sure are sweet.
